On Tuesday, I received an award as recipient of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in PA Initiative’s “Advocate for Excellence.” The honor was officially announced in June while I was recovering from kidney transplant surgery, leaving me unable to receive the award in person.

The ABA in PA Initiative consists of parents, industry professionals, and lawmakers dedicated to change the future for all children in Pennsylvania with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by ensuring access to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy via Medical Assistance.
